This is a three-part class.

Part 1: An introduction to Babies Breath.

The proper breathing technique for daily life. This includes the proper breath technique as well as posture, and why proper posture is important.

Bringing you back to the natural breathing you were born into this world with which allows you to bring the proper fuel into your body creating energy that allows you to burn more calories in a day simply by proper breathing.

Learning proper posture to open your body up to the natural fuels that surround you. This technique will open you up to a whole new, healthy, and energized world as long as you are willing to accept it in.

Part 2: A beginner’s Instruction to Anapanasati

Ānāpānasati: meaning “mindfulness of breathing” (“sati” means mindfulness; “ānāpāna” refers to inhalation, and exhalation), is a form of Buddhist meditation now common to Tibetan, Zen, Tiantai, and Theravada Buddhism, as well as Western-based mindfulness programs.

This is a meditation breathing technique which brings focus to a single point. An excellent beginners meditation. This technique works on relaxed natural breathing, and allows you to sharpen your mind, and to align mental focus. To allow you to step out of your daily stressors. This technique creates a focused mind instead of an agitated mind. How can there be peace within an agitated mind?

Part 3: A beginners Introduction to Prāṇāyāma

Prāṇāyāma: is a Sanskrit word alternatively translated as “extension of the prāṇa (breath or life force)” or “breath control.”

Prana: meaning life

Yama: to restrain or control the prana. Implying a set of breathing techniques where the breath is intentionally altered in order to produce specific results

Ayāma (negative form): to extend or draw out (as in extension of the life force).

We will go over the steps to achieve both prāṇa, and yama. We will go over the basic 4 stages of this breathing technique, and what the purposes are behind each.

Why is this class so very important for everyone? In today’s world we are set at a fast pace. Rushing, stress, and frustrations have become part of our mental  daily diet. We have forgot how to simply breathe, and the natural health that the breathing we were born with creates. In this class you will learn the beginning of Anapanasati breathing techniques, Baby’s Breath, and the beginning of Prāṇāyāma.

We are always outside of ourselves creating stress in our lives. This class teaches us to allow ourselves to be mindful of our insides which creates balance. Which will reflect in a more focused mind as well as a more patient mind. This creates a more peaceful life to oneself, and reflects to those around.
